| The Evangelism Committee is ultimately concerned with extending God’s
word into the community, by making Trinity Lutheran Church a warm and inviting place of
worship. To that end, the committee sponsors a variety of events designed to invite people
throughout the community to worship with us and, indeed, to become part of our family. In recent years, events have included Trinity-on-the-Green, which replicates an old-fashioned community gathering and ice cream social . . . Invite-a-Friend Sunday . . . new-member dinners . . . a tent to provide shade and respite for participants in Mechanicsburg’s annual Jubilee Day . . . and much more. In truth, however, every member of Trinity church is part of the Evangelism Team. |

| In past Thanksgiving seasons,
the Evangelism Committee has baked small loaves of bread to give to members and friends, so that on Thanksgiving, they may break bread together, to recall how we all are part of one large family . . . God's family. |
